The vision

for USAID's Mission to Armenia 2009-2013 Strategy is "Collaborating with Armenian partners to achieve a more equitably prosperous, democratic and healthy Armenia." Since August 1994, USAID/Armenia has supported this vision through human capacity and institutional development as part of the participant training program. The program has reinforced and complimented technical assistance provided by USAID partners across all strategic objectives.

Development Project, as a cross-cutting activity, is an ideal instrument to support development across the Mission's Strategic Objectives, from engaging partner institutions or work groups in a full human and institutional capacity development approach to improve their performance, to individual training and non-training interventions to strengthen capacity at an individual level.
